Easy to work with hand tools because of its softness. Glues well and accepts stains and finishes easily.

Veneer, furniture, plywood, boxes/crates, and various utility applications.
Color:The heartwood tends to be a medium to reddish brown
Janka Hardness:430 (soft).
Decay and Weather Resistance:California Cottonwood is rated as being non-durable and susceptible to insect attack.
